Circles by Mac Miller

Circles is the sixth and final studio album by the late rapper Mac Miller and was released on January 17th of 2020. Circles was a posthumous album, but it was completed before Mac Miller’s death. This album is very impactful as many songs go into detail about the certainty of death. This album carries even more weight as Mac Miller was able to finish the album, but not able to release it before his death. This album was the second album in a trilogy that Mac Miller was unfortunately never able to finish, with his album released before Circles, Swimming, being the first in the trilogy. Unfortunately Mac Miller passed away on September 7th, 2018.

It was difficult to decide, but “Good News” is certainly my favorite song off the album. “Good News” was part of the preroll for the album and was released with a video tributed to Mac Miller after his passing. This is a happy song that talks about sad topics on a relatively sad album.
