Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band by The Beatles

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band is the eighth studio album by rock band The Beatles and was released on May 26th of 1967. This album is a known classic as when it came out it spent 27 weeks at the top of the charts in the UK and 15 in the US. Ever since I was a child, I have been obsessed with this album. The poppy tunes mixed with the weirdness of the album always intrigued me. The album also features a variety of songs that have different vibes to them. This has allowed favorite song on the album to changed over time as I chaged. This album was one that I had to buy on vinyl record when I saw it in a vinyl record store in LA.

“A Day in the Life” is easily my favorite song off of the album, although “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” is a close second. There is just something about “A Day in the Life” that captures me, whether its the story telling, orchestra sounds, or overall vibe, and its an all time classic for me.
